Certified Personal Trainer
Background:
Paul’s love of fitness began in high school running the
800 meters.
After running his first marathon in 1978, Paul was a competitive
runner for the next 20 years competing in races from 5K up to
ultra marathon distance. Many times receiving age group awards.
. Having completed 41 marathons, local and national, Paul understands
the challenges of setting goals and achieving them.
Many miles were run alone, but time spent running with others
and motivating them made Paul realize that he would like to
help others achieve their fitness goals.
“The fitness you require at the location you desire:”
In 1994 Paul became a personal trainer. Paul specializes in
in-home, one-on-one personal fitness training tailored for the
individual’s specific needs; i.e., weight loss, toning,
muscular strength, sport specific, pre and post natal training,
flexibility, and endurance. It didn’t take long for Paul
to see he had to use his creative skill to devise a workout
at home to get the results one would attain in the gym environment.
Paul has achieved excellent results with golf and tennis enthusiasts,
working with all age groups and conditions.
After having heard John Boos on radio and attending his lectures,
Paul became a client. John was instrumental in helping Paul
make the transition from runner to bodybuilder. Under John’s
tutelage and strength training philosophy, Paul quickly learned
a runner could be fast while running less. Paul applies that
philosophy to his own clients.
Paul is very happy to be part of the staff and is proud to be
co-host of the John Boos One-on-one Fitness Show.
Paul was born in 1956 and resides with his wife Christine in
Islip.
