Strength Training...

Strength training can combat many health problems. Reduced blood pressure, body fat and relief of back and arthritic pain are all examples of that which can be achieved through proper training. Weight training is the most common approach to strengthening muscles. Lifting weights creates leaner muscle mass and stronger bones. It also helps with greater flexibility, endurance and balance. Lifting weights can be detrimental if done irresponsibly or incorrect. The Strength & Fitness staff will educate you on proper weight training techniques and will explain to you each activity as you are going through it.
